The short version
Melora Digital does not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies. We only use a small number of strictly necessary cookies that make the AI consultant and our staff login work. We also use your browser’s local storage to remember a few choices on your own device.
This notice should be read with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work (for example, keeping you signed in to a session). Others are used to track you across sites or show you ads. We only use the first kind.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Who it applies to | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
mc_session |
Keeps your active AI consultation connected and secure | Visitors using the AI consultation | Strictly necessary, httpOnly, first-party | About 45 minutes |
mc_admin |
Keeps Melora staff signed in to the admin area | Melora staff only | Strictly necessary, first-party | 12 hours |
“httpOnly” means the cookie can’t be read by scripts running in the page, which helps protect it.
Because these cookies are strictly necessary, the parts of the site that rely on them won’t work without them. They are not used for advertising, profiling or tracking you across other websites.
Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)
Before you start an AI consultation, we use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that you are a person and not an automated bot. Turnstile sends technical signals from your browser (such as browser and device characteristics) to Cloudflare to make that check. It does not use tracking cookies. Cloudflare handles this information under its own privacy terms.
Analytics
By default, we do not run analytics on this website.
If we turn analytics on in future, we will only use privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics. Those tools will never receive information from our contact form, AI maturity assessment, AI consultation transcripts or your contact details. We will update this notice before we enable analytics.
Local storage
Local storage is a feature of your browser that lets a website save small amounts of information on your device. Unlike cookies, it isn’t sent to our servers with each request.
We use local storage to:
- remember your analytics opt-out choice, so we don’t ask you again on every visit
- save your in-progress and completed AI maturity assessment answers, so you can pick up where you left off
- save your capacity-calculator inputs, so you don’t have to re-enter them.
This information stays on your device. Your assessment answers are only sent to Melora if you ask us to email you your report, or if you choose to share your result with an AI consultation. Separately, when you complete the assessment we store an anonymous copy of your scores (organisation type, main pressure area, overall and dimension scores — no personal information) to build a fair comparison with other organisations. See our Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
Some features involve third-party services that operate under their own terms:
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection, as described above.
- Browser speech recognition — in browsers that support it (for example Chrome, Edge and Safari, including on iPhone), voice input during a consultation uses your browser’s built-in speech service, which sends your audio to the browser maker (for example Google, Microsoft or Apple) under their own terms. We receive only the resulting text. This is controlled by your browser, not by a cookie we set.
We do not embed advertising networks or social media tracking pixels.
Managing cookies and local storage
You can control cookies and local storage through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Most browsers explain how in their help pages.
If you block strictly necessary cookies, the AI consultant and staff admin area won’t work. The rest of the website, including the AI maturity assessment, should still work.
To clear your saved assessment answers, calculator inputs and analytics choice, clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice if the cookies or tools we use change. The date at the top shows when it last changed.

Your choices
We only use strictly necessary cookies. If privacy-respecting analytics is switched on in future, you can opt out here; your choice is stored on this device.
