Services

Seven services. One practical path.

Work can be a small focused engagement or a broader end-to-end programme. Every service is designed around your systems, risk settings and budget — with people in control.

Service 01

AI opportunity and process discovery

Executive-led discovery that finds where AI can genuinely reduce operational friction—and where it should not be used.

The problem

Most organisations know AI matters but lack a clear view of where it fits their own work. Ideas arrive from vendors, staff and boards at once, and without a structured lens it is hard to separate practical opportunities from distractions.

What we do

  • Run executive and team workshops to map the workflows that create the most friction, rework or delay.
  • Assess each opportunity for value, feasibility, data readiness, risk and effort.
  • Identify where AI is not the right answer, so effort is focused where it can help.
  • Prioritise a shortlist of practical use cases matched to your systems and budget.
  • Translate findings into plain-language recommendations for executives and decision makers.

Typical deliverables

  • Current-state workflow map for priority processes
  • Assessed and prioritised opportunity register
  • Risk and data-readiness notes for each shortlisted use case
  • Executive briefing with recommended next steps
  • Indicative effort and budget ranges for the preferred options

Human control

Discovery identifies where human judgement must remain central and records the approval points each future workflow will need before anything is built.

Service 02

AI maturity, governance, and implementation roadmap

A clear view of your AI maturity, the governance you need, and a staged roadmap your executive team can fund and follow.

The problem

AI activity often starts in pockets—individual tools, pilots and experiments—without shared rules or a sequence. That makes it hard to manage risk, allocate budget and build lasting capability across the organisation.

What we do

  • Assess current AI maturity across strategy, data, technology, people and governance.
  • Shape practical AI principles, acceptable-use guidance and decision rights that fit your risk settings.
  • Define approval, oversight and review arrangements proportionate to each type of use.
  • Sequence initiatives into a staged roadmap aligned to budget cycles and capacity.
  • Brief executives and governance bodies so decisions are informed and owned.

Typical deliverables

  • AI maturity assessment and summary findings
  • Draft AI principles and acceptable-use guidance
  • Governance and oversight model with clear roles
  • Staged implementation roadmap with dependencies
  • Executive and board briefing pack

Human control

The governance model sets out who approves what, so accountability for AI-supported decisions stays clearly with named people in your organisation.

Service 03

Secure AI workflow automation

AI-supported automation for repetitive, document-heavy work—designed with security, audit trails and human approval built in.

The problem

Skilled people spend significant time on intake, sorting, summarising, drafting and re-keying information between systems. That work is necessary but slow, and it pulls attention away from judgement, service and decisions.

What we do

  • Redesign selected workflows so AI handles preparation and people handle decisions.
  • Build automations that classify, extract, summarise and draft within defined boundaries.
  • Design approval steps, exception handling and escalation into every workflow.
  • Apply access controls, logging and audit trails aligned to your security settings.
  • Pilot with real users, measure what changes, and refine before wider rollout.

Typical deliverables

  • Future-state workflow design with control points
  • Working automation for the agreed workflow
  • Approval, exception and escalation rules
  • Security, logging and audit configuration notes
  • Pilot review and recommendations for scale

Human control

Human approval remains required before external communications, material system updates and high-impact decisions. Automation prepares the work; authorised people decide.

Service 04

Custom AI tools and copilots

Purpose-built assistants and copilots that work with your documents, systems and language—not generic chat tools.

The problem

Off-the-shelf AI tools rarely understand an organisation’s policies, terminology or systems. Teams end up copying information in and out, and answers cannot be relied on without heavy checking.

What we do

  • Design assistants around specific roles, tasks and decisions rather than general chat.
  • Ground, configure, integrate, and where appropriate fine-tune models using your approved content.
  • Connect tools to the systems your teams already use, within agreed permissions.
  • Show sources and confidence cues so users can verify outputs quickly.
  • Test with users against realistic scenarios before release.

Typical deliverables

  • Tool or copilot design brief and user scenarios
  • Configured and grounded AI assistant
  • Integration with agreed systems and content sources
  • Testing and evaluation summary
  • User guidance and administrator notes

Human control

Copilots draft, retrieve and suggest; users review and remain accountable for what is sent, saved or decided.

Service 05

Private/local LLM and controlled-cloud deployment options

Deployment options—from controlled cloud to private and local models—assessed against your data, security and residency needs.

The problem

Many organisations hold information that should not be sent to public AI services without careful assessment. Choosing where and how models run is a security, residency, cost and governance decision, not only a technical one.

What we do

  • Assess deployment options against your data, security, residency and governance requirements.
  • Compare controlled-cloud, private-hosted and local model options on capability, cost and control.
  • Design architectures that keep sensitive information within agreed boundaries.
  • Configure access, logging and monitoring appropriate to the information involved.
  • Document trade-offs clearly so decision makers can choose with confidence.

Typical deliverables

  • Deployment options assessment
  • Recommended architecture and data-flow design
  • Security and access-control considerations
  • Indicative cost and operating-model comparison
  • Implementation plan for the preferred option

Human control

Deployment decisions are made by your executives and security owners, informed by a transparent options assessment rather than a default vendor choice.

Service 06

Data, integration, and knowledge-system enablement

Getting your information, systems and knowledge into a shape AI can use reliably, securely and with clear ownership.

The problem

AI is only as useful as the information it can reach. Knowledge is often scattered across shared drives, inboxes and legacy systems, with unclear ownership, duplication and out-of-date content.

What we do

  • Assess the quality, ownership and accessibility of priority information sources.
  • Design knowledge structures and content governance so AI draws on current, approved material.
  • Integrate AI tools with core systems through secure, permission-aware connections.
  • Establish data handling rules for what AI can and cannot access.
  • Set up maintenance routines so knowledge stays accurate over time.

Typical deliverables

  • Information-source and data-readiness assessment
  • Knowledge structure and content-governance model
  • Integration design for priority systems
  • Data access and handling rules
  • Content maintenance and ownership plan

Human control

Content owners decide what information AI may use, and changes to source systems remain subject to your normal approval processes.

Service 07

Change management, training, and ongoing optimisation

Helping people adopt AI confidently, use it well, and keep improving it as needs and technology evolve.

The problem

New tools rarely deliver on their own. Without clear guidance, practical training and ongoing review, adoption stalls, workarounds appear and risks go unnoticed.

What we do

  • Plan change and communication tailored to each team affected.
  • Deliver practical, role-based training on using AI tools safely and effectively.
  • Equip leaders and champions to support adoption across the organisation.
  • Review usage, feedback and outcomes to refine workflows and tools.
  • Keep governance, guidance and models current as needs evolve.

Typical deliverables

  • Change and communication plan
  • Role-based training sessions and materials
  • Quick-reference guides and acceptable-use reminders
  • Champion network guidance
  • Periodic optimisation reviews and recommendations

Human control

Training reinforces that people remain responsible for AI-supported work, and reviews check that approval points are being used as designed.

Engagement models

Scaled to your ambition and budget.

Step 1

Start focused

A short, fixed-scope engagement such as a workflow review or practical readiness roadmap. You gain a clear picture of where AI can help, what it would take, and a sensible first step.

Fits: Suits small and growing businesses, individual teams, and organisations wanting clarity before committing a larger budget.

Step 2

Build a capability

Design and deliver one or two priority AI tools or automations, with governance, security and training established alongside. You finish with working capability and the foundations to extend it.

Fits: Suits mid-sized organisations and departments with a defined need and a moderate, planned budget.

Step 3

Transform a workflow

An end-to-end programme that redesigns a significant operational workflow, integrates AI with core systems, and supports change across multiple teams over time.

Fits: Suits larger organisations, public-sector bodies and regulated entities ready to invest in sustained, organisation-wide change.

Common questions

Do we need a large budget to work with Melora?

No. Many engagements start with a focused workflow review or a practical readiness roadmap, then grow only if the value is clear. We scope work to your priorities and budget.

Do you resell AI software?

We are not a software reseller. We help you choose a fit-for-purpose technology path and build or integrate around the systems you already use.

Will you train a custom model for us?

Usually that isn’t needed. We ground, configure, integrate and, where appropriate, fine-tune. Retrieval over approved sources and good workflow integration are often safer, faster and lower-cost.

What happens after go-live?

We support adoption, training, governance and ongoing optimisation, so your team isn’t left alone with new software.
